Donate your tax refund
For every donation you make, you are able to claim 33.33% back as a tax credit, and you can claim up to four years previous if you haven't already done so. Make a difference to someone’s life today with money you never knew you had!

Once you've received your tax credit you can donate to us online or contact our team on 0800 227 229 to arrange for your tax credit to come back to The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ.
Payroll giving
If your employer has a Payroll Giving Scheme you can donate directly through their payroll system and get the tax benefit immediately, rather than applying to the IRD at the end of the year. If they don’t then you might want to give them this information.
Buy your specs from Specsavers
Specsavers stores across New Zealand are committed to supporting the communities that support them.
A major community initiative that Specsavers runs in stores nationwide is the Specsavers Community Programme. For each pair of glasses sold, customers receive a token which they can use to select The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ as the charity they would like to support. A subsequent donation is then made by the store.
Donate your time
Many professionals offer to donate their services to The Foundation — photographers, graphic designers, legal advisors, doctors and more. These kind donations allow us to operate at a lower cost meaning more funds reach those in need.
