The Herald's Viva Magazine features our Outreach in Samoa

Viva Magazine's Fashion & Creative Director Dan Ahwa joined us at a recent Outreach in Samoa, to see first-hand the amazing work The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ team are undertaking every day in the Pacific.

While in Samoa, Dan had the chance to visit an Outreach on an outer Samoan island Savai'i. Here he met Samoa's only permanent eye doctor and saw a man regain his sight after 10 years of blindness. He also joined The Foundation-trained eye doctors and nurses for a Pacific feast, cooked by renowned chef Michael Meredith.
